Prague, 15 March 2009 - Today, T-Mobile yesterday kicked off a unique project titled "Pass Me On", connecting the world of social networks and our everyday lives. Two T-Mobile Pulse phones - Rosie and Pinkie - are setting off on a three-month journey around the Czech Republic. You can follow their stories online every day at www.poslimedal.cz  and www.facebook.com/PosliMeDal. People will pass on the phones to one another without any specific plan - this way, everybody has the opportunity to contribute to their stories.

"We don't know where the journey will take Rosie and Pinkie, what they will experience and what kind of people they'll meet," says Martina Kemrová, Senior Head of Corporate Communication and T-Mobile's spokesperson. "What we do know, though, is that everywhere Rosie and Pinkie go, there will be T-Mobile coverage. Among other things, we view "Pass Me On" as a report on how people live, how they enjoy themselves and how they spend their leisure time in 2010. We are curious to see to what places the phones will get and whom and what they will encounter along the way."

For a maximum of two days, the holders of Rosie and Pinkie will be taking pictures and commenting on everything interesting around them: people, things and places. After that, each player will pass the phone on to another person of their choice. Rosie will set off on the journey in Prague with Marcela Skřivánková, the presenter of the t-music chart broadcast on TV Óčko. Pinkie will begin exploring the world in Brno, in the MobilMania.cz office. The next stories of the two phones will be created and recorded by their "adoptive owners" themselves. After three months, the project will provide a unique view of the Czech society; the experience of all participants will come together in a single place.

During the entire "Pass Me On" project, players will receive SMS instructions to perform certain tasks - for example, to get Rosie and Pinkie to some place, use them to record an event or involve a specific person in the "chain". If fulfilling the task, the player can receive a reward, such as a new mobile phone. All pictures and records, including approximate location information, will be immediately published on the project's website and Facebook page using a special application.

"As we have no idea whom Rosie and Pinkie will meet, it was necessary to make sure that even people not used to using the latest phone types know how to handle them," adds Martina Kemrová. "That's why we have chosen the reliable T-Mobile Pulse touch-screen phones with a special application developed for this purpose by inmite.
