Prague, October 26^th 2009:  Fresh and groovy new talent, The Asteroids Galaxy Tour will be featured on the six-date Electronic Beats Recommends club tour to kick-off December 6^th in Vienna.  Berlin-based, Modeselektor Soundsystem with Pfadfinderei will headline the first two cities, Vienna and Prague, as Electronic Beats launches its new club event format.

Exploding onto the scene in late 2008 with their first single, 'The Sun Ain't Shining No More', the Danish duo of Lars Iversen and Mette Lindberg have been making waves ever since with their psychedelic and soulful sounds.  Their hypnotic single 'Around the Bend' was featured in a worldwide iPod Touch commercial and helped to kick-start their rise as one of the hottest new bands around.  After an extensive tour that included an array of festivals, The Asteroids Galaxy Tour released their first album 'Fruit' in September of this year.  Live, their on-stage performance grows into a six-piece band complete with horn section and when combined with Lindberg's gripping vocals, the audience is treated to a truly unique sound and feeling.

Modeselektor Soundsystem with Pfadfinderei will be returning to the Electronic Beats stage for the Vienna and Prague dates after performing in Innsbruck for one of the program's first live events in 2009.  Known for their electrifying performances that keep the crowd on their feet, the electronic and house artists have released the two critically acclaimed albums 'Hello Mom!' and 'Happy Birthday!' and most recently worked with Apparat on the 'Moderat' project, which included a global tour.  

The Electronic Beats Recommends club event concept promises to showcase the most fresh and exciting talent to emerge on the music scene.  Joining the well-known Festivals and Classics event series, Recommends will bring up-and-coming artists to the Electronic Beats stage for a new approach to music discovery for its community.  Tickets for the Electronic Beats Recommends tour are on sale now.  For the first time ever, tickets for an Electronic Beats event will be exclusively sold via mobile ticketing in the Czech Republic.
