Special offer of telephones and packages
T-Mobile customers may now take advantage of calls at favourable prices with new phones. As of today, they can choose from a special offer of packages which include, besides a phone, the HIT tariff add-on. Customers can decide, for example, for a package with the Siemens A55 and the HIT tariff add-on offered for CZK 1,999. Another possibility is a package with the Sony Ericsson T630 with integrated camera, designed exclusively for T-Mobile customers, priced at CZK 7,599. Like the T630, the Sony Ericsson T230 supports MMS, GPRS and Java games, and it is offered for CZK 3,499 in a package. One of the tips of the month for the TWIST customers is, for example, a set with this phone for CZK 4,999. (All prices include VAT. The price of the package includes the tariff activation).

T-Mobile amends its policy relating to mobile payments
T-Mobile has decided to amend its priorities in the area of mobile payments. As the service allowing customers to pay for goods and services offered by suppliers on the Internet and WAP via their mobile phone has proved very useful in recent months, T-Mobile is placing emphasis on the continued development of this area of m-payments. On the contrary, the possibility of paying for drinks in Coca-Cola beverage machines and some services at Aral petrol stations via the mobile phone is not much used by T-Mobile customers. Therefore, these services were discontinued to be provided as of 1 February 2004. At present, it is possible to use the m-payment with eight internet suppliers and, to make the service easier, it is no longer necessary to activate this service prior to the first use.

Set up the My Info channel for lower prices until May
A company's own information channel may help the company in internal communication and promotion activities towards its customers. The activation of the My Info channel with the possibility of receiving payment for the provision of content is now cheaper. If the customer chooses the option in which the messages sent from the My Info channel are paid by their recipients, the customer may take advantage of the offered payment for the provision of content and thus receive a portion of the price for each SMS. The conditions under which it is possible to set up the My Info channel with the possibility of receiving payment for the provision of content have been amended. The standard annual fee of CZK 12,000 for the operation of such a channel (payments in any amount for the provision of content are paid monthly) has been changed to CZK 2,000 (payments will be paid provided that they reach at least CZK 100 in the relevant month). This offer is valid from 1 February 2004 through 1 May 2004.

SMS to fixed lines are now even simpler
With T-Mobile, SMS messages - until recently the domain of mobile phones - can be sent to fixed lines as of December, without it being necessary to enter any key words or to use any special access numbers. As of February, the service operates in all number formats - i.e., it is not necessary to enter the number with the international prefix. You can just write a SMS and send it to the relevant number in national format, for example, 221 xxx xxx (the possibility of using the 00420 or 0420 prefix is also valid). The fixed line accepts the SMS either as text or the message is delivered as a voice recording.

Top up of TWIST cards via GSM Banking
Customers who have an account with Živnostenská banka may top up their TWIST card credit via GSM Banking. Twenty four hours a day, at home or when traveling, even abroad, you can transfer any amount from CZK 200 to CZK 9,999 via your mobile phone. You do not have to sign any contracts in order to use this service. The possibility of topping up credit via GSM Banking has also been used for some time by customers with bank accounts at GE Capital Bank.

Awards for the T-Mobile MDA II
The successor of the MDA I, combining a PC and phone - the T-Mobile MDA II - has been awarded several prizes. After winning the Europe Pocket PC Award 2003, it was named Product of the Year 2003 by the magazine Softwarové noviny. This success is even more valued considering that T-Mobile was the only company from among mobile operators and mobile phone producers to be recognized. In the December issue of PC Magazine, the MDA II won the Editors' Choice award.

The MDA II allows customers to perform all standard operations as on an office PC. It contains both office tools (e.g., Word, Excel) and tools for on-line communication on the Internet (web explorer, e-mail client) and entertainment tools (games, video recording, etc.). All features are, naturally, in the Czech language (it is possible to switch to English). Other applications may be easily installed.
