Free weekend calls for new customers

  • Customers signing a new contract can make weekend calls to T-Mobile numbers absolutely free of charge
  • If activating mobile internet, customers can buy six selected handsets at a discount of up to CZK 1,000
  • Businesspeople get free minutes and text and picture messages

Prague, 2 December 2009 - T-Mobile is giving out joy at Christmas. The operator will therefore enable its customers to be in touch with their loved ones more often than ever before. All customers signing a new contract in December will not pay a single crown for weekend calls to T‑Mobile numbers until the end of the year. Businesspeople will receive free minutes and text and picture messages. An attractive offer has also been prepared for new customers who activate a mobile internet add-on.

The last month of the year is the time when people usually try to catch up, at least by phone, on everything they did not manage to do during the year. Customers who in December activate any of the voice tariff plans currently offered by T-Mobile or switch from the pre-paid Twist card to any such tariff plan will make free calls to the T-Mobile network on Saturdays and Sundays until the end of the year. Naturally, the sooner they sign a new contract, the more free weekend calls they can enjoy.

Savings on phone costs can be even higher: if activating any of the exclusive HIT bundles, customers can not only purchase a handset at a discounted price, but they will also receive 20% extra credit every month. Customers can choose, for example, from the following handsets: Samsung E1120, which can be purchased for CZK 1, Nokia 2330 for CZK 299, Samsung S3310 for CZK 799 and Nokia 6303 for CZK 1,799 (all prices include VAT).

Activation of mobile internet brings a discount of up to CZK 1,000 on the purchase of a mobile phone

Before Christmas, T-Mobile will also offer something to all those who feel constrained by the small display of their handset when surfing the web or who wish to buy a mobile phone suitable for browsing the internet as a Christmas present for their loved ones.

Along with signing a new contract, customers will receive a discount of up to CZK 1,000 on six selected models of mobile phones (Nokia 6303 classic black, Nokia 6303 classic silver, Sony Ericsson W995, Samsung S8000 Jet, Samsung Star and Nokia E52). This offer is valid until the middle of January and the discount is naturally added to any other discounts available under the selected tariff plan. It is conditional on activating the Surf&Mail+ data add-on for a period of two years.

All new customers who commit to monthly spending of CZK 250 (e.g., those activating the Kredit 300 or Podnikatel 300 tariff plans) can thus purchase a Nokia E52 for CZK 4,999. Customers who call more often and pay more than CZK 800 per month (using, for example, the Kredit 1000 or Podnikatel 900 tariff plans) will pay CZK 1,000 less for the same phone.

In addition to these special offers, T-Mobile has prepared a discount on the above-mentioned Surf&Mail+ data add-on, which is necessary with the new phone. New customers can activate it at a 25% discount, i.e. for CZK 178.50 (incl. VAT).

Businesspeople receive free minutes or extra credit

Not only family and friends wish to be in closer contact during the holidays. T-Mobile has not forgotten about small companies and self-employed individuals who also dial more numbers before Christmas. If these customers activate any of the Podnikatel tariff plans in December, or switch to any of these tariff plans from the pre-paid Twist card, they will obtain CZK 200 of extra credit until the end of the year. For example, users of the Podnikatel 300 tariff plan will be able to spend CZK 500 instead of CZK 300 for making calls to all networks, sending text and picture messages and using other services.

If T-Mobile customers who are businesspeople decide in December to sign a new contract for a minute‑based tariff plan, they will obtain 50 free minutes for calls to all networks until the end of the year.
