New number of customers

  • T-Mobile has strengthened its position in the business segment during the past six months
  • Customer numbers have increased by more than 40% year-on-year

Prague, 1 August 2002 â?" As of 30 June 2002, 3 149 714 customers were using the T-Mobile services in the Czech Republic. The total number of customers thus increased by more than 40 per cent year-on-year. Only clients with standard contracts and users of the prepaid Twist services who have topped up their credits at least once during the last twelve months are regarded as customers.

â?śWe consider the past six months to have been very successful. We have achieved considerable success particularly in the business segment. A number of foremost companies who had been using the services of other mobile operators became our customers. Nevertheless, I attribute even greater significance to the fact that the vast majority of our existing customers extend their contracts for further periods. We highly value the trust they place in us,â?ť says Miroslav Rakowski, Sales Director of RadioMobil.

The new customers acquired during the past weeks include, for example: Hochtief VSB, ING Group, IPS Skanska, Královský pivovar Krušovice, Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic, Nowaco, Pražská teplárenská, Precioza, Shell ÄŚR and ZVVZ Milevsko. ÄŚSOB, Danzas, Gity, Globus, Makro, Severomoravská plynárenská, Transgas and Union Banka, among others, have extended their contracts for further several years.

According to an internal survey conducted by RadioMobil, the main reason stated by corporate customers for cooperating with T-Mobile is the best ratio of the money they spend to the value they receive. Large companies often mentioned the flexibility of creating solutions tailored to fit the needs of the particular client. Customer service and a number of special offers were frequently mentioned by SME clients.
