Weekend+ tariff add-on at no monthly fee
For two months*, T-Mobile customers can now enjoy weekend calls at just CZK 0.50/min, without having to pay the standard monthly fee of CZK 29. This offer is designed for both those who have already activated the Weekend+ tariff add-on and those who will do so. Weekend+ offers calls at weekends and on public holidays to the Czech T-Mobile network for CZK 0.50/min. Customers can activate it on their existing tariff** free of charge by using the Interactive Voice Response system on the T-Mobile Infoline or by setting up the service directly in Profile at t-zones. (The prices are excl. 22% VAT).
* The two-month period begins on the first day of the customer's billing period in March 2004. Therefore, we recommend that customers activate Weekend+ with the beginning of their billing period in mind.
** This applies to Tariff 20 Start, Tariff 80, Tariff 200, Tariff 400 (including the HIT variants), Tariff Student, Tariff 20 + 20 and Tariff Data Unlimited.

Twist top-up via GSM Banking
From mid-February, customers with Česká spořitelna accounts can top up their Twist credit using GSM Banking. 24 hours a day, at home or while travelling, even abroad, it is possible to top up credit with an amount from CZK 200 to 3,000 by simply using the mobile phone. It is not necessary to sign any additional contract or make any activations. If the customer has an older application on the SIM card which does not contain the Twist top-up option, the banking application must be updated. To have the application updated, the customer can either visit the bank or call 5610 for remote activation. GE Capital Bank customers have been able to top up credit via GSM Banking for some time, and holders of Živnostenská banka accounts obtained this opportunity a short time ago.

APN Internet Plus to ensure availability of equipment from the public internet
The APN Internet Plus service is designed for customers who need the allocation of a public IP address for internet access via GPRS (with the standard APN Internet, private IP addresses are allocated and Network Address Translation is used). When connecting to GPRS via APN Internet Plus, the public IP address is allocated dynamically (i.e., it is different for each connection). Internet access with a public IP address is required for some specific applications (e.g., some VPN clients for secure remote access to the corporate network) or if it is necessary that the connected computer or other equipment can be contacted from the public internet. When connecting via APN Internet Plus, it is possible to use the GPRSpeed Plus service. Its activation costs CZK 499 (excl. VAT) and its use is not subject to any further monthly charges. Data transmission is charged based on the GPRS tariff which has been set up by the user and the user can apply the free units provided within this tariff.

Changes to SMS services
As of 1 March 2004, T-Mobile no longer offers three SMS services: Voice SMS, SMS Fax and SMS to Operator/Pager. The reason for this is the low usage of these services and, at the same time, the existence of services which offer the same features but which, moreover, provide higher quality and greater ease-of-use.
Since 1 December 2003, T-Mobile customers have been able to send SMS to the fixed lines and faxes from a mobile directly, without having to remember and enter any key words and the 4616 access number for these services. The new SMS to Fixed Line service offers a significantly higher quality of spoken text and, in addition, it will recognize whether the phone is able to receive the SMS as text or fax and will deliver the message accordingly. Since February, it is not possible to dial the recipient's number including the international prefix and starting in March, the service also supports fax transmissions. This is thus a significantly improved variant of the Voice SMS and SMS Fax services.
T-Mobile launched the SMS Operator/Pager service in 1998, at a time when operators and pagers played a significantly more important role than today. The service was used only by a small number of customers who sent only several dozen messages each month. It is still possible to send SMS to operators/pagers using the SMS Email service. Effective 1 January 2004, customers pay the same price as that of an SMS for the use of the SMS Email service.
