Postponed due dates of bills, suspension of the collection process
T-Mobile is aware of the extent of the difficulties endured by the people in the areas afflicted by the recent flooding and is striving to be as helpful as possible. Naturally, the most important task is to ensure smooth operation throughout the Czech Republic, which the operator has so far managed to do. At the same time, it has prepared special offers for customers affected by the floods, which we hope will provide some relief in their difficult situation.
Did your handset get soaked? Get a new one for CZK 1.
Flood victims quite often lose their mobile phones. T-Mobile has prepared for them an offer of simple handsets for CZK 1, for which they can purchase prepaid SIM cards topped up with CZK 200 for CZK 2. A total of 4,000 such devices will be distributed to T-Mobile shops and partner shops in the affected areas; the devices will be available from Wednesday, 5 June.
If customers decide to purchase a more advanced phone, they will be allowed to extend their contracts up to 12 months before the expiry of the original term of their contract and thus purchase a handset in instalments. If customers also lost their SIM card, they can purchase a new prepaid card with CZK 200 credit for CZK 2 or request its free replacement.
For emergencies, T-Mobile has prepared 1,000 Twist sets including a prepaid Twist Našim (“Twist to Our Customers”) SIM card and a handset, which the operator plans to distribute via charitable organisations operating in the areas affected by the floods.
We understand possible financial problems
T-Mobile is also offering financial relief to customers in a difficult situation. Based on a request from a customer, the operator has decided to postpone the due date of bills by up to one month and to suspend the collection process for the nearest period.
Customers from the affected areas who are unable to meet their contractual obligations may also ask for an exceptional use of a repayment plan, either by calling the T-Mobile Customer Centre or visiting a T-Mobile shop.
Additional information regarding exceptional offers can be obtained at the info line of the Customer Centre (by calling 4603, 603603603) and at T-Mobile and partner shops.
