T-Mobile Customers Can Continue Sending MMS for CZK 2

  • Communication via MMS pays off
  • Try out Media Album - it's free of charge until the end of October

Prague, 28 August 2003 - In September, all T-Mobile customers will be able to continue sending MMS for just CZK 2 excl. VAT. T-Mobile is also extending another offer, allowing customers to use the Media Album service free of charge until the end of October. "Thanks to Media Album, everyone can communicate via pictures supplemented with text, sound or animations, including those who do not have an MMS-enabled phone," says Jiří Hájek, press spokesman for T-Mobile.

MMS for CZK 2
All contract and Twist customers could use this offer during July and August; it has now been extended until the end of September. Furthermore, contract customers can send MMS at the same price even from abroad where it pays off twice: if a user decides for an MMS instead of a traditional postcard, he or she can send several of them at the price of a stamp. Multimedia messages can be exchanged with the users of Czech, Slovak and Austrian mobile phones using the services of EuroTel Bratislava and T-Mobile Austria.

Media Album
With Media Album, customers are no longer limited by the phone's capacity or the fact that they do not own an MMS phone yet. Thanks to this service, available on the t-zones portal under www.t-zones.cz or wap under "E-mail a více", it is possible to administer all MMS messages: create new, adjust or forward delivered messages, save messages or their parts and a lot else. In addition to text, it is possible to insert pictures, video and ringtones from the publicly available gallery or use pictures and ringtones downloaded from a PC. There is also a picture editor and ringtone editor which can be used to adjust the individual parts of the MMS message before sending or create completely new ones, for example compose one's own melody.

Until 31 October 2003, customers can try out Media Album completely free of charge (when accessing it via WAP, customers will pay only the connection time or the volume of data transmitted via GPRS based on their tariff).
