T-Mobile has a new offer for companies: calls via fixed lines

  • T-Mobile Virtual PBX as a modern solution for fixed voice services
  • Free calls within the company with the Firma tariff plan
  • Unified services for mobile and fixed numbers

Prague, 17 December 2009 - More services from one operator. That's what current customers want and T-Mobile is making efforts to meet their wishes. To all corporate users, i.e. small and medium-sized businesses, T-Mobile offers Virtual Private Band Exchange (PBX) which enables calls via fixed lines making use of the mobile world benefits. Its biggest advantage is the fact that employees' calls within the company between fixed-line numbers and from fixed-line numbers to mobile phone numbers are free of charge. Customers do not have to pay for setting up, operating and maintaining the standard PBX but simply use services of their operator. All they need is the internet access.

Free calls within the company and free minutes for everyone

One operator = one invoice. T-Mobile Virtual PBX connects all company numbers (fixed-line or mobile phone numbers) into one common private network. Calls within this network are free of charge or significantly cheaper - all for a monthly fee of CZK 199 excluding VAT (CZK 236.81 including VAT) for each fixed-line number connected to the PBX. Calls from mobile numbers are charged according to standard tariff plans. Moreover, if customers conclude a fixed-term contract by 31 January 2010, they will get a 50% discount on the Virtual PBX tariff plan for six months. Another option for the users is to activate the Firma tariff plan which enables free calls to T-Mobile fixed lines within the company network even from mobile phones.

One minute of calls outside the company to a mobile phone and to a fixed line costs CZK 4.28 and CZK 1.07 including VAT respectively. For such calls, T-Mobile has prepared additional bundles offering free minutes. Free minutes are not set for individuals but are shared across the entire company. They can be used by all users connected to the PBX and there is no need to worry there will not be enough time to use them up. Free minutes can be used for calls to T-Mobile numbers and to all fixed networks within Czech Republic.

Convergence benefits - joint services for fixed as well as mobile numbers

Deleting borders between the mobile and fixed worlds opens up a new space to companies and brings them many opportunities. All missed incoming calls from both fixed and mobile numbers are saved in a shared voice mail box, the customer may forward incoming calls to his/her mobile phone or to the fixed line, the same short dialling may be used both for fixed and mobile numbers within the company network and, of course, the customer will receive only one statement of services for each month.

T-Mobile Virtual PBX has the same standard functions as the classic PBX, but offers something extra. Customers may call the user group when the call is connected to several numbers simultaneously, share the device with other employees (which can be used e.g. in meeting rooms) or set a group of banned numbers. The person called may simply record a message saying when he/she is ill, on holiday or simply out of work. Within the defined hours, the service enables to play any recorded message to all callers.

Customers who are interested may test the quality of the service free of charge directly in their company. From  21 December, T-Mobile shops will be lending fixed telephones.
