T-Mobile introduces a special offer for customers affected by natural disaster

Prague, 16 July 2009 - T-Mobile has prepared a special offer for those customers who were severely affected by natural disaster. Beginning Wednesday 22 July 2009, T-Mobile customers can apply for several types of benefits that can help them in their difficult situation.

The following types of benefits are available to customers who prove that they have suffered material damage as a result of a natural disaster:

  • Free new SIM card with their existing number;
  • CZK 500 discount on a new handset;
  • Early contract renewal combined with a handset for a discount price (starting at CZK 1);
  • Postponement of the maturity date of the latest Statement of Services or an instalment scheme.

These benefits can be combined with one another.

To be eligible to obtain the benefit(s), the customers are required to show their identity card/substitute document and submit any of the documents proving clearly that the customer suffered material damage, e.g., a document confirming the provision of special material distress allowance, confirmation of payment of an insurance claim or another document proving that the applicant was severely affected by natural disaster.

All the benefits listed above can be obtained at T-Mobile shops. The postponement of the maturity date and the instalment scheme can be arranged via the T-Mobile Customer Centre (by calling toll-free at 4603 from T-Mobile numbers). The Customer Centre's operators are prepared to provide detailed information.   

This offer is valid from 22 July 2009 until further notice.
