T-Mobile is extending its range of IT services for companies

  • Complete delivery and administration of IT and telecommunications infrastructure for ProfiNet customers
  • Zero initial investment
  • Comprehensive solution, including maintenance, from a single strong and stable supplier

Prague, 16 March 2010 - T-Mobile is improving its range of services for business customers. They can now use the "Equipment Supply and Administration" service which is part of the ProfiNet solution. The existing, comprehensive service, which includes all types of telecommunications services, has been extended with the possibility of renting complete telecommunications and PC network architecture for a fixed monthly rate. Following the launch of the Virtual PBX service last December, this new service is another step toward T‑Mobile's goal of comprehensively meeting the needs of the business sector.

"The introduction of this new service is aimed at satisfying the long-term requirements of our customers, especially from the segment of small and medium-sized businesses," says Štěpán Tůma, Senior Head of the Internet & Business Unit, adding: "We are adding another level to the existing services covering the needs in the area of voice and data connectivity, which particularly involves equipment delivery and administration directly at the customer's office. In other words, while up until now we have been able to bring the internet to customers' offices, we are now offering to bring it to their servers and client PCs safely and at clearly defined costs.

One of the big advantages of this offer is the use of a common infrastructure both for data transmission and phone calls, which brings significant cost savings. In addition to LAN or WLAN administration, customers can also take advantage of the complete delivery of hardware for IP telephony. This concerns the Call Manager and Call Manager Express solutions. While Call Manager is intended primarily for larger companies, Call Manager Express is suitable for businesses with fewer than 100 employees. The features of these call-processing solutions can be adjusted to meet the customer's individual requirements. There are several types of IP phones to choose from, including a virtual phone (PC application) and a terminal for conference calls.

IT managers can also choose from a number of additional services for the Call Manager: The Call Centre feature allows users to manage calls, replay messages, select queues, have caller information displayed and evaluate traffic. Another option is the Unified Mobility service, thanks to which employees can be reached on a single telephone number, regardless of whether they are present at their primary workplace or, for example, on a business trip. Unified Mobility also provides transparent transition of ongoing calls from mobile phones to desk phones, and vice versa, so users can maintain uninterrupted communication.

Thanks to the modular character of the solution, customers will in all cases pay only for what they actually use. The price includes regular technology replacement and service support with a guaranteed functionality restoration time. Customers requiring a higher level of availability of all services and shorter fault handling times can choose a higher SLA (Service Level Agreement).

Implementation, monitoring and maintenance by a single partner simplifies the communication between the company and its supplier and brings the advantage of a single invoice for all services. Thus, for a fixed monthly fee, customers can pass on all the responsibility for its network architecture to T-Mobile. And they will save on their IT operations.
