T-Mobile launches unlimited music and video streaming on the Czech market

Listening to music and watching videos with the StreamOn service is not counted against the data limit
The promotional price of the new bundle is CZK 199 per month
The list of supported services will continue to expand

Beginning on 15 November 2017, T-Mobile customers can enjoy unlimited music and videos without this being counted against their data limit thanks to the new StreamOn bundle. T-Mobile is offering the bundle for a special introductory price of CZK 199 per month until 31 January 2018. All customers activating the service by that date will pay the special price throughout the time they use the bundle. The operator is planning to charge CZK 249 per month for the service beginning in February 2018.

The bundle enables streaming of music and video content by means of supported applications and was designed primarily for use on mobile telephones. The content provided by these applications is not counted against the basic data limit of tariff plans or, in the case of prepaid cards, data bundles. With the StreamOn bundle, customers can use data at the same speed as with their respective tariff plan or data bundle.

StreamOn is available to customers using voice tariff plans that contain data allowances which are included in the price of the given plan and to users of the prepaid Twist card with any activated Twist Internet for a Month bundle that is currently on offer. The service is suitable for everyone who enjoys watching videos or listening to music on mobile devices: for people who need permanent background music, children with prepaid cards who require more and more bundles for watching funny videos or fairy tales all evening and customers who like watching programmes presented by Martin Veselovský.

The service can be used under the same conditions not only in the Czech Republic but also in the EU countries.

Customers can activate the service on the My T-Mobile self-service portal or by sending a text message with STREAMON A to 4603. After the expiry of a billing period or, in the case of the prepaid Twist card users, a 30-day period, the bundle is automatically extended. If customers use up their data limit intended for their respective tariff plan and can no longer use data services or can use data services only at a reduced speed, the same limitation will also apply to the StreamOn service as a result of the net neutrality rules.

StreamOn currently supports the following mobile applications: HBO GO, YouTube, Apple Music, Deezer, Mobile TV (T-Mobile), Stream.cz, Seznam Zprávy, Pohádky (“Fairy Tales”, operated by Seznam.cz), Youradio, DVTV (operated by Aktuálně.cz), Evropa 2, Frekvence 1, Tidal, Horizon Go, Digi2Go and Pigy, a radio channel for kids. The offer is not final, as the operator will continue to expand the list of supported applications. The StreamOn service is based on open access so that all providers of audio and/or video mobile applications can be included provided that they comply with the conditions of cooperation.

More detailed information about the offer and the manner in which partners can join in will be available on the website at www.t-mobile.cz/streamon, which T-Mobile will launch on 15 November. The StreamOn bundle can be ordered after the website has been launched.
