T-MOBILE TO START SELLING THE IPHONE 5C AND 5S ON 25 OCTOBER AT 00:01 A.M.

Prague, 21 October 2013 – T-Mobile will soon start selling two hot new smartphones: the latest iPhone 5s and the most colourful iPhone 5c will be on sale in the Czech Republic after midnight on 25 October. The operator has prepared a night-time competition for fans to win a total of four phones – two iPhone 5s at the T-Mobile shop on Prague’s Národní třídě and two other devices at the T-Mobile shop on náměstí Svobody in Brno. Another competition to win an iPhone 5s will be launched on the operator’s website before sales begin.

The operator will offer several versions of these devices at its shops: the iPhone 5c will be available in the 16 GB version in white and blue. Customers will also have a possibility to purchase gold, silver and grey variants of the 16 GB version and a grey variant of the 36 GB and 64 GB versions of the iPhone 5s.

An exclusive offer of the following variants has been prepared for customers purchasing iPhones via the operator’s e-shop and for business customers:

• iPhone 5c 16 GB in yellow and green,
• iPhone 5s 32 GB in silver and 64 GB in gold. 

The devices will be available to everyone during the midnight shopping event; however, the maximum number of smartphones that can be purchased by each customer is limited to one iPhone 5s and two iPhone 5c. On the following days, the iPhone 5c will be sold without any restrictions; the premium iPhone 5s series is intended for customers signing a fixed-term contract. The limit of the maximum number of units per person will remain in place. The operator has built up a sufficient stock of most models for the sales kick-off; after that, further stocks should be delivered on a continuous basis.

COMPETITION
For iPhone fans who arrive at the T-Mobile shops on Národní třída in Prague and náměstí Svobody in Brno, the operator has prepared a competition to win two grey iPhone 5s 16 GB in each shop. Two contestants who manage to enter the respective shop between the laser beams without touching them will win this hot new smartphone. A total of four iPhones will thus be given away at the two shops.

Another competition to win one iPhone 5s 16 GB in grey will be launched on the T-Mobile website before sales begin. More information will be available soon on the operator’s Facebook page.

THE iPHONE

NANO SIM
Similarly as the iPhone 5, the iPhone 5c and 5s use the smallest SIM card format to date, the so-called nanoSIM. Customers who ask for a replacement of their existing active SIM card at any T-Mobile shop will have it replaced with the new type free of charge.
