T-Mobile will help with marketing campaigns

  • Attractive web advertising space for summer at a 50% discount
  • Free mobile website design with campaign orders exceeding CZK 50,000

Prague, 17 May 2011 – T-Mobile is offering a helping hand to advertisers for the execution of marketing campaigns on the internet and for designing mobile websites. Beginning in May, the operator is selling space for advertising banner campaigns at its t-music website and the SMS gateway at a 50% discount, which is valid for the summer. For new advertisers ordering mobile marketing in excess of CZK 50,000 excl. VAT, the design of the mobile landing page will be included in the price of the order.

“The number of internet users is growing. A regular monthly survey clearly shows that the number of mobile internet users is increasing too and, naturally, so is the group of potential customers to which mobile advertising can be targeted. This is why we have decided to lend a helping hand to advertisers,” says Vít Šoupal, Senior Head of Mobile Payments, adding: “At the end of the first quarter, more than 920,000 customers were using mobile internet.”

The first offer is intended for those interested in attractive advertising space at the operator's two portals for a favourable price. Advertising banners can be placed at www.t-music.cz and the SMS gateway at a 50% discount on the individual formats. This offer applies to campaigns conducted during the summer holiday season, i.e. from 1 July to 31 August 2011.

The operator is also offering free design of mobile websites in the scope of one landing page and up to four additional subsites for mobile advertising. This offer can be used for the formats of advertising SMS, MMS, banner campaigns and icons on mobile portals. It applies to campaign orders in excess of CZK 50,000 excl. VAT and is intended for new advertisers. The offer is valid until the end of 2011.

Mobile websites are an appropriate tool particularly when advertisers want to present their products or services to customers directly on mobile telephones. Moreover, they allow advertisers to communicate advantages and functionalities in a bigger space than in an advertising text message.
