  • The mobile section of the t-music PLAY! digital music e-shop is now open
  • Song downloads straight into handsets
  • More than 500,000 songs starting at CZK 21.90 each
  • The first song and transfer free of charge

Prague, 10 September 2007 - Music lovers have another cause for celebration. They can now access tmusic PLAY!, the digital music store, directly from their mobile phones. Until now, it was only possible to purchase digital music on the web. From now on, customers may choose a song on their mobile phone's display and download it directly. They will only pay for the song itself; the data transfer will be free of charge. People can now choose from among more than 500,000 songs. Their first downloaded song is free and the price for subsequent ones starts at CZK 21.90.

"The launch of the mobile section of the t-music PLAY! e-shop is another step toward simplifying our customers' access to music and making the experience more pleasant," says Michal Němec, Vice President Mobile Portal and Content Services at T-Mobile, adding: "Great music is still our key area of interest. Moreover, the largest Czech music e-shop, t-music PLAY!, is now truly mobile. Customers can pick their favourite song while waiting at a railway station, pay for it via their mobile phone, download it directly into their handset, and start listening to the song by the time they board the train."

The internet form of the t-music PLAY! portal (play.t-music.cz) makes it possible to download songs to your PC and, using a cable, to your phone as well. The newly launched mobile form of the portal adds the possibility of downloading a song directly to a handset. Users can download their first song free of any charge. Subsequent downloads will be charged, but customers pay only for the song itself; the data transfers are free. Contract customers will find the sum of the individual charges included in their regular monthly Statement of Services, while users of pre-paid Twist cards will have the charges deducted from their credit.

If customers buy a song in the mobile section of t-music PLAY!, it does not rule out the possibility of downloading it to their PC and burning it onto a CD. It is only necessary to register at t‑zones.cz or on the t‑music.cz portal and specify the phone number which was used for downloading the song from t‑music PLAY!. Immediately afterwards, all purchased songs will appear in the "Moje hudba" section (My Music), regardless of whether they were bought over the internet or via the user's mobile phone.

Users will find the service by navigating from the t-zones WAP homepage to the "Hudba a zvonění" (Music and Ringtones) section. The service is supported by the following handsets:

Motorola KRZR K1, Nokia 6131, Nokia 6233, Nokia 6280, Nokia 3110, Nokia 5300, Nokia 6230i, Nokia 6300, Nokia 6630, Nokia 6680, Nokia 7370, Nokia 7373, Nokia N70, Nokia N73, Nokia N90, Samsung D900, Samsung D900i, Samsung E250, Samsung E870, Samsung Z300, Samsung Z400, Siemens M75, Siemens S75, Siemens SXG75, Sony Ericsson D750i, Sony Ericsson K510i, Sony Ericsson K600i, Sony Ericsson K700i, Sony Ericsson K750i, Sony Ericsson K790i, Sony Ericsson K800i, Sony Ericsson M600, Sony Ericsson W200i, Sony Ericsson W300i, Sony Ericsson W550i, Sony Ericsson W800i, Sony Ericsson W810i, Sony Ericsson W880i, Sony Ericsson W900i, and Sony Ericsson W600i.
