Prague, June 4, 2020 – Ľubomír Kobéda and the shop with sourdough bread mixes became the absolute winners of the tenth year of T-Mobile Rozjezdy. For well-thought-out business and his ability to take advantage of opportunities during the spring emergency situation, he takes home prizes for almost CZK 700,000. The jury awarded the prize for the best technological solution to Tomáš Poláček (Babice u Říčan) and his smart house control cubes, which will simplify life not only for smart home owners, but also for children and people with fine motor disorders. The award for the best responsible project goes to Viktor Karlík from Zlín and his self-supporting straw panels that will facilitate the construction of passive houses.

This year's winner Ľubomír Kobéda comes from Brno. His KváseCzech is an original shop with mixes for home-made sourdough bread. In the package you will find a sleeping yeast and a flour mixture for making 1 kg of pastry, along with practical instructions timed after hours. Ľubomír Kobéda has been baking sourdough bread since 2012. He tried various preparation methods, started organizing courses and also teaches traditional bread baking.

For the first time, a jury composed of experts, successful entrepreneurs and investors agreed on the victory of Ľubomír's project. "The inconspicuous project is ingeniously thought out, calculated and, above all, covered by years of experience in finding your own way to the perfect loaf and leading courses. In addition, Ľubomír was able to make excellent use of the yeast shortage during the epidemic and got his packages into a wide sales network, "says Martina Kemrová, chairwoman of the jury, T-Mobile's corporate communications manager.

Margareta Křížová, investor and member of the jury, adds: “I am glad that KvaseCzech, an earthy and practical project, is the winner. In addition, Mr. Kobéda personally impressed me with his energy. It was clear to him that he enjoyed business, makes him heartfelt, but at the same time he has everything well counted. There is nothing left to chance on that project, marketing, ingredients, instructions on how to bake good bread, everything goes together, it's a joy. For me, this year's T Mobile Rozjezdy was also proof that even in difficult times, there are people who want to start something new and definitely do not intend to sit and lament about how difficult the business is. And it's definitely worth helping them, as Rozjezdy and T-Mobile do. "

Martin Korman, an advisor and member of the jury, was also pleased with this year's winner. "In today's over-technological times, he won the project, which rather benefits from our traditions and is doing very well. Mixed with common sense, the right shot at the goal and a quality product, it is a recipe for success, from which all (not only) beginning entrepreneurs could take an example. I've tried it, and it certainly wasn't the last time. "

Ľubomír Kobéda receives prizes in the total amount of CZK 662,694, primarily a financial gift from T-Mobile in the amount of CZK 150,000, a telecommunications package, T-Cloud corporate applications in the total value of CZK 86,794, but also an advertising campaign from Proboston and Expertia, PR consulting from AC&C Public Relations, Seznam.cz services worth CZK 30,000, financial, legal and accounting advice from other partners in the competition. It is also worth mentioning the voucher for a luxurious two-story cake from last year's winner of T-Mobile Rozjezdy Delu Cake.

Special awards

This year's business competition saw several for the first time. Due to the epidemic and restrictive measures, the jury had to meet online. For the first time, it also selected the winners of the Award for the best technological solution and the Award for Responsible Business, which mean a financial reward, as well as a package of telecommunications services. All projects that placed in the regional rounds could apply for them. Among the technological projects, Tomáš Poláček from Babice near Říčany shone with a unique solution for controlling an intelligent house. Its wooden blocks have no display or buttons, you can pull down the blinds in one movement, turn on the TV and turn it off at the same time. Even a small child or a person with fine motor problems can control it. He received a financial injection of CZK 150,000 from T-Mobile to put his idea into production.

The award for the best responsible business goes to Zlín. Viktor Karlík has been building straw houses for years, but he would like to simplify the buildings, so he starts producing self-supporting wood-straw panels. Thanks to them, the construction of houses with low energy consumption or passive houses will be faster and their building will be of higher quality. In addition, the panels made of ordinary waste straw can also be used to insulate common buildings. Viktor Karlík receives CZK 100,000 from T-Mobile with the Responsible Business Award. Viktor Karlík and Tomáš Poláček also receive a telecommunications package and software applications for companies from the T-Cloud offer (Office 365 from Microsoft, Kaspersky security software, easy backup of PhoneCopy phones and especially professional backup of computers, servers and phones to a secure cloud from the leading European provider Xopero Software) in the total value of almost 87 thousand CZK.

For the second time, the Czech Management Association selects young talents from among the regional winners under the age of 40. This year, the CMA awarded a special prize to Viktor Karlík (self-supporting straw panels, 38), David Stančík (application Daruju Krev, 19) and Adam Vlček (Edudadoo, 36).

The trio will get the opportunity to participate in the mentoring program XY - Transfer, and thus gain experience from older colleagues. "XY - Transfer is a prestigious project that gives promising young managers and entrepreneurs the opportunity to see under the cover of the thinking of those who have already made it somewhere in their lives. Collaborate with them and be inspired by them. We hope that the participation in XY - Transfer will help the selected winners to turn their business dream into a successful reality," adds Vilém Vrba, a member of the Presidium of the Czech Management Association.

Due to the shift caused by the epidemic, all regional winners were announced all together today and have been fighting in the online voting for the Public Award since the evening. "Online voting is an opportunity for many projects to try online marketing for the first time," recalls Mirek Rojek, a long-time jury member of T-Mobile Rozjezdy and an expert in online marketing. "The winner is the one who correctly identifies the target and the target group, convinces his friends and customers. Not only 100 thousand crowns and other prizes for more than 100 thousand are at stake, but also an important experience for real business life. "

All winners from the regional rounds advanced to the voting for the national Public Award on the competition website www.rozjezdy.cz.

In the tenth year of the T-Mobile Rozjezdy project, 406 ideas competed. One third (29 percent) of projects are in the field of IT, mainly software or IoT applications. Teh second most popular category was education and activities, and leisure products. As many as 21 percent of sustainable business ideas, such as aquaponic farms, organic florists, and toy rentals, applied for support. "Once again, we met with several companies offering glass straws, as well as a CNG car fleet and several companies that reuse old clothes," sums up the business plans of Eva Karasová, CSR manager at T-Mobile. Traditionally, the biggest competition was in the capital, where 118 projects competed, then in South Moravia (57 entries) and in Central Bohemia (44).
