MMS back in standard mode

In recent days, we have succeeded in introducing a solution that will protect customers using MMS on Android devices against the potential threat of malware.

With this solution, which is also more customer-friendly than the solution used to date, it will now be possible to deliver MMS with audio or video attachments as was customary before the introduction of filtration on 11 August.

The newly developed solution is able to check all MMS and identify infected content. Therefore if a message is secure, it will be delivered directly to an Android device in the T-Mobile network. This is a precautionary measure; it needs to be stressed that not a single infected file has been identified yet. Repair of the Android platform remains the only 100% reliable measure against the threat.
